First time here. Even after reading the worst reviews. My Benton box was awesome! Food was good quality and the service was fine. I'll be back.

Live in the area for so long but never ever visited this sushi joint. Read the reviews before coming and was worried due to mixed reviews. We came on a Thursday 7pm despite slightly packed I would say its really good on wait times etc. But everything was so fresh and quick to be served. Every dish we ordered were so good. I love the salmon scallop aburi! The sashimi were so thick and fresh! Definitely will come back again!!

I’ve been to Sushi Arai in Beenleigh a few times now, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to spots for a quick and satisfying Japanese meal. It’s a small, no-frills sushi train restaurant, but what they lack in size, they make up for in quality and service. The sushi here is consistently fresh—especially the Wagyu Garlic Aburi and the Salmon & Avocado rolls. You can tell they take care with their ingredients. The rice is well-seasoned, the fish is never slimy or fishy, and even the tempura is crispy and light. Their Chicken Katsu Don is also a standout—crispy, comforting, and generously portioned. The staff are friendly and efficient. It’s not over-the-top hospitality, but they’re polite, welcoming, and always make sure you’re looked after, whether dining in or grabbing takeaway. I’ve never had to wait long, and food arrives quickly, even during busier times. Prices are super reasonable for what you get. I usually leave feeling full and happy without burning a hole in my wallet. It’s a great spot for solo lunches, casual dates, or even quick pick-ups if you live nearby. If I had to nitpick, the atmosphere is a little plain, and seating is limited. It’s not a fancy place, but for the price and quality, it really doesn’t need to be. Just good, honest sushi done right. Highly recommend if you’re in the Beenleigh area and craving something fresh, fast, and delicious. I’ll definitely keep coming back! — Pro Tip: Try their tuna nigiri or the spicy rolls off the train—they go fast for a reason!
